Forty-seven-year-old farmer Rod Tichon of Andrew, AB, and three other lucky hockey fans guaranteed themselves a memorable New Year, as they each took home an all-new Chevrolet Equinox Crossover as part of the fourth annual, international award-winning million-dollar giveaway, the Chevrolet Equinox Million Dollar Shootout. The event was televised live nationally on TSN during the first intermission of the 2010 IIHF WORLD JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP round-robin game featuring Canada vs. USA.
"What an unbelievable experience! Just being on the ice at a World Juniors game is incredible, but to go home with the keys to a new vehicle is amazing," said Rod. "After being on national television with the chance to win a million dollars and a new vehicle, I think I might still be in shock. It may not sink in until tomorrow, but it's definitely something I'll never forget."
