Electronic Gadgets Revealed as Homeowners Most Treasured Possessions

(PressMethod) - Over a third of UK homeowners value electronic equipment more than any of their other possessions, according to a poll by Swinton.

Items such as laptops, iPods and mobile phones are deemed more precious than photos and family heirlooms.

Swinton, the UK's leading retailer of home insurance polled 1,200 online customers and found that 35% put electronic gadgets at the top of the list as the most treasured possessions in the home.

Of those polled 28% put furniture next on the list of most treasured possessions, while 22% ranked jewellery in third place.
