Tree Island Wire Income Fund Announces Distribution

(PressMethod) - Tree Island Wire Income Fund (TSX:TIL.UN - News) announced today that a distribution of $1,830,037.24 ($0.0833333 per unit) will be paid on May 15, 2008 to unitholders of record on April 30, 2008. This distribution consists of interest on the subordinated notes of Tree Island Industries Ltd. ("Tree Island") paid by Tree Island for the 30-day period ending April 30, 2008.
All of this distribution is taxable interest income.
