Robert and Laura Welliver head the company that purchased the 56-unit hotel at 99490 Overseas Highway in August and renamed it Bayside Inn Key Largo.
The hotel will get impact-resistant windows, new furniture, a gym and possibly a new pool. A new paint job is on the schedule as well; the three-story hotel's multiple coats of pink will be replaced with yellow.
